NBC’s Revolution Preview – What can we expect?

Are you looking forward to NBC’s big budget new series launching this fall? Revolution is the ground-breaking new blockbuster from LOST producer JJ Abrams. The new science fiction drama series will debut on September 17th 2012 but what can we expect from this exciting new show?

Today we will preview the first few episodes of Series One. We will learn about the characters, the plot and discover more of what we can look forward to in this fascinating new programme. Warning this article may contain some spoilers.

Revolution – The first episodes

Episode one will introduce the viewers to the main characters. We join the story some 15 years after the blackout, although the narrative uses flashbacks to help us explore their backgrounds in further detail. The main protagonists centre on the Matheson family, who after 15 years without power have become farmers at the heart of a small community. Ben Matheson (Tim Guinee) is the family head, and helps care for his daughter Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos) and son Danny (Graham Rogers). With local governments extinct, rogue militia groups control the land. Unfortunately in the first episode we watch helplessly as Ben is visited by one of the militia leaders, Captain Tom Neville (Giancarlo Esposito) who demands that Ben must leave the village and come with him at once.
Without spoiling what happens in these first few scenes, Ben tells his daughter Charlie that she must begin an epic journey to Chicago to track down her long lost uncle. Armed with a sacred locket, Charlie sets off on her mission accompanied by local townsfolk Maggie (Anna Lise Phillips) and Aaron (Zak Orth). Along their way they meet a fellow traveller called Nate (J. D. Pardo), however Maggie has her reserves as to whether they can trust their new friend.

Eventually the group reach Chicago and locate

Charlie’s uncle Miles (Billy Burke). However he is not best pleased to meet his new family member and also has reservations over Nate. During the initial episodes we will uncover a whole of host of information via flashbacks which help us better understand our characters actions. We will discover why Charlie’s dad gave her his most important sacred locket and why Miles is reluctant to leave Chicago and return back to Charlie’s home.

Our Revolution preview thoughts:

The Revolution TV series has a lot of expectations on it and needs to be a hit in the American ratings. We witnessed last year with Fox’s Terra Nova what happens if a new science fiction series doesn’t perform well. Fortunately, we believe that Revolution will be a huge success. It has so much potential including a superb cast, stunning sci-fi settings and engaging original story plot. However the biggest attraction has got to be having producer JJ Abrams on board. The similarities of cult show LOST are here in abundance and for LOST fans there has yet to be a TV show that can satisfy their cravings. NBC’s Revolution will surely take that crown when it premieres this fall.

Tim Guinee (Ben Matheson)

#NBC Understanding the story behind the #Revolution #NBC (Spoiler)

After the review of the first trailers we can explain the story behind the new Revolution Tv Show. We can explain the tag-line/argument. We will see this in the first episode (coming soon this fall). By the moment, the name of this is episode is “Pilot”. -SPOILER ALERT-

Main family relationship:

  • Ben (Tim Guinee) and Miles (Billy Burke) are brothers.
  • Ben is married with Maggie (Anna Lise Phillips) and they have two sons. They are Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos) and Danny (Graham Rogers). Rachel Matheson (Andrea Roth) is the aunt.

Argument:

  • The militia of Monroe Republic (name of new republic) is looking for Ben. Captain Tom Neville (Giancarlo Esposito) is the boss.
  • Ben asks Aaron (Zak Orth) to hide the amulet.
  • Ben has been shot. (Is he dead?)
  • The militia kidnaps Danny.
  • Charlie, Aaron and Maggie go to the city looking for Miles.
  • On the road, Nate joins (JD Pardo).

In the city:

  • They found Miles.
  • Miles has a pub in the city.
  • Charlie asks Miles to help him finding his nephew Danny.
  • Charlie tells Miles they are a family and that he needs help.
  • Nate is finally part of the militia.

Charlie and Miles talks:

  • Miles tells Charlie about the blackout. He tells his brother Ben is partly involved in this. Perhaps he knew how to solve the blackout.
  • Charlie wants his brother and has no answer from his uncle. He does not care.
  • Miles’ pub is found by the military group.
  • The militia and Miles start a fight.
  • Miles wins the fight and escapes from the military group with Charlie, Aaron and Maggie.

At the end:

  • A woman named Grace(Maria Howell) uses an amulet and turns a computer on. (will it be the same amulet? )
  • The computer has the old keyboard and the monitor is a Flat LCD.

Other screen scenes:

  • Danny escapes from Militia???

NBC Revolution: Power blackout is in a USB amulete?

The last days we have seen some new video clip form upcoming Tv Show Revolution (NBC). [J.J. Abrams, Eric Kripke and Jon Favreau thing] The premiere is this fall.

What can I say about the first images?

For example the blackout history starts with some kind of weird amulet. if we look at this amulet, we will find that it us a USB computer drive.

In the scene:

  • - Ben (Tim Guinee) came home with a box in their hands.
  • - Ben talk with Miles (Billy Burke) by phone and tell: EVERYTHING WILL TURN OFF!

Some moments later:

  • - Ben downloads some info from a military laptop to a USB drive.
  • - Ben inserts the USB in a weird amulet. The Blackout begins.

Nowadays, 15 years later, the solution to the blackout maybe in the USB amulet but they don’t have the power to read the data. This will be good!

Note: Ben uses a Military laptop! (Panasonic Toughbook). Maybe he is a military contractor.
