I have to admit that before this little road trip started, I’d long since given up on ever finding out what caused the Blackout. I mean, in the days that followed, we were all too worried about finding food and water to care about the hows and whys. And even when things finally did settle down – well – lets just say information isn’t as readily available as it used to be. But now, a woman I lived and worked next to for, ya know, years – in a tiny cul-de-sac in Wisconsin – and oh, by the way – thought was dead up until a few days ago – knows the answers to all of my questions. ANOTHER BETRAYAL PUSHES MONROE TO THE EDGE WHILE RACHEL MAKES A BIG MOVE TO TURN THE POWER BACK ON – Paranoia strikes Monroe deeply (David Lyons) as Neville disappears and Neville’s (Giancarlo Esposito) son Jason (JD Pardo) makes a big decision. Meanwhile, the familial bond between Miles (Billy Burke) and Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos) grows stronger. Elsewhere, Miles experiences romantic attraction with both Rachel (Elizabeth Mitchell) and Nora (Daniella Alonso). And Rachel sets off on her dangerous quest to infiltrate the Tower and restore power to the world before Monroe can ignite a nuclear device. Also starring, Zak Orth, Dayo, Okeniyi and Robert Pralgo.

Revolution Webisode: Wheatley’s Letters: May 7th

Revolution is set to return to NBC’s schedule on March 25, and in the interim, six animated webisodes will be produced. According to EW, the first episode is available starting today on sites as varied as NBC.com, Hulu, YouTube, and even On Demand. One new webisode will post every week until February 18. [Rumor] Revolution renewed for Second Season!!!

…According to The Root, the show will have a chance to redeem itself next year and has a chance of attracting a cult-based following if they improve the dialogue and acting. The Root praises the acting skills of Giancarlo Esposito, who previously played drug lord Gustavo “Gus” Fring on AMC’sBreaking Bad, a role the garnered him an Emmy nomination. The Root also suggests that the other actors sharpen their skills if they want to be in the same ranks as Esposito.

Given that Abrams has a lot of credibility in Hollywood, NBC gave the show a green-light for a full first season. The risky move will give viewers twenty-two episodes this year, to introduce them to the show’s concept.

If ratings are an indication of viewer loyalty however, the critics may be wrong on this one. The show currently averages about 10 million viewers per week, and its second episode saw a 53% increase in viewership in the key 18 – 49 age demographic, making it the highest rated show on Monday nights. Its breakout success also positioned NBC to beat out all other networks during September premiere week…
